I look for motivation to inspire me to finish a major painting and couldn’t get moving. I like to check out blogs to push me sometimes. Hi Warren, I’m not sure I’ve given any encouragement unless it’s in the form of posted work showing that I’m trying to find time to paint often, persisting through the disappointments to moments that maybe show improvement. For me, daily painting or as near as possible, helps to keep the self-doubt at bay and makes the process of improving more important than an individual work. Don’t stop.

I find the play of light and shadow on the leaves in #182 is especially effective and appealing. I would say you are on an excellent path.
