Hi Sir. I don’t know much about camera settings, but the post title combines the two subjects involved. The painting title “Meter Maids” is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the ladies who were once employed to check that parking meters were paid in full.

I am trying to figure out how metering affects the painting of the irises?
Or maybe it is just the flowers hiding the gas meter and has nothing to do with camera exposure?
