      It’s a Malus “brandywine”, and my favorite tree in the front yard, Not as healthy as I’d like. Unfortunately it has a fungus called cedar-apple rust or Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae, that needs two hosts, cedars and crabapples. The cure would be to eliminate cedars in the area. Not a possibility given the neighboring town is called Cedartown!
